Familiar Gestures. Works from the Gunther Jaegers Collection

A rare insight into the remarkable private collection of Dr. Gunther Jaegers, developed over decades through an intensive engagement with contemporary art. The publication brings together works by both established and younger artistic positions and presents a collection shaped less by stylistic or chronological order than by personal conviction, curiosity, and long-standing relationships with artists. Painting, sculpture, and other media open diverse perspectives on themes such as identity, memory, politics, intimacy, and everyday life. Featured artists include, among others, Alex Katz, Xenia Hausner, Martha Jungwirth, and Christian Schad, along with younger artists such as Monika Kus-Picco, Dana Zaltzman and Petar Mirkovic.
