IVÁN NAVARRO. WELCOME

Iván Navarro (b. 1972) uses light as his raw material, turning objects into electric sculptures and transforming the exhibition space by means of visual interplay. This unprecedented monograph, born from a collaboration between Skira and Galerie Templon, focuses on political and social critique, a major subject in Navarro’s work, and aims to show the essential role played by both the public space and visitors in the perception of these artworks. Richly illustrated, the book includes three original texts, including a conversation between Iván Navarro’s and fellow-Chilean artist Alfredo Jaar as well as with world-acclaimed architect Dominique Perrault.
