Vittorio Zecchin. Transparent Glass for Cappellin and Venini

This volume reconstructs for the first time the entire production of transparent blown objects designed by Vittorio Zecchin first for Cappellin and Venini, and then for Cappellin alone. It consists of a succession of about 900 models (from vases to composers, from table sets to chandeliers) that have been identified through rigorous research work. Zecchin's work is illustrated both by a rich photographic apparatus created for the occasion and by a review of period photographs and drawings, mostly unpublished, from the Venini Historical Archive, Murano, the Archive of the Glass Study Centre, Giorgio Cini Foundation, Venice, and the Zecchin Ramani Archive, Trieste.
