Since the early 2000s, Toma-L, born in 1975, has developed an expressive, instinctive pictorial language that might be related to lyrical abstraction, although it is free of any theoretical or conceptual constraints. Toma-L’s work is protean: painting on canvas, wood, lithography or fresco... He never ceases to reinvent himself, notably by collaborating with artists from other creative fields such as video artists, dancers, photographers or graphic designers.
